What I see in Goons is an invasion of an outside influence, organized invasion of 'outside interest' into EVE. I actually believe now that Goons and structures like Goons are bad for EVE.

Prime example of what Goons and Goon alts are trying to drown out. A mate of mine is a so-so member of goons, and I have his accsess to their forums, the eve forums and others, the outside community is definatley hard at work in EVE.

I do not hate goons in particular, I do believe that they are pretty good at achieving their goals, the problems likes with the fact that they do see EVE as a simple game and by this mean that anything goes at any cost. It is clear from the general attitude I saw on their forums.

They powerbase is outside of EVE, as people said before, and this is what they dont want you to know. This is what they dont want you EVE players to realise and comprehend that the power is large indeed, they have resourses available to them which they are using for support, and they would hate for people to know that.

And I agree completley when people say they are worried about Goons and structures like goons invading EVE. With the powerbase outsied the game allot can be possible. And finally, I know goons will come here and will try to drown out what I am and others are saying.

I am all 100% pro BOB at this time. Yea they are racous bastards, yea they are big bad and strong, and yea they are perfect to love and hate all at the same time. However, BOB is ours, it sprung from EVE, it sprung through EVE, Goons are not ours, they did not spring through EVE, they came from outside and slowly became a power to content with, primarily through their external structure, and this is what is worrisome, and I can understand why they are compared to roaches, cancer, blight and whatever else.
